Travel
You can fly to Heraklion (61 km) or Chania (116 km) with direct flights from all over Europe. To reach Agia Galini from the airport you can choose between taxi (we can help you book), bus or car rental (ask us for better deals). We could even arrange to pick you up, just let us know your time of arrival and flight data.

Surroundings
The famous beaches of Preveli, Agios Pavlos & Triopetra are at a close range (30 minutes to 1 hour drive for all places mentioned here). We can take the boat to visit Matala (the hippies beach) & Agiofaraggo, fish on a private beach in Paximadia and have dinner on the beach. Or we could take a horse ride on Kommos & Kalamaki! The archaeological sites of Faistos & Gortyna will give us a chance to explore the long history of the island from Minoan to Byzantine times. And we could also admire the nature around the lake of Zaros, visit the ethnology and the folk museums, the Cretan Zeus Park, or even learn how to make glass!
